The Department for Economy is now  advising all contracted training providers  like Coalisland Training Services to cease  face-to-face delivery of training in relation  to the Training for Success and  ApprenticeshipsNI programmes from  Friday 20 March 2020.   From Monday until further notice, CTS will  record all current Training for Success  participants as being on Authorised  Absence. This will be a short term  approach to ensure that weekly  participants’ Training Allowance payments  continue to be generated and will ensure  participants are not financially  disadvantaged in the short term. Work  placements can continue during this time,  provided they are undertaken in line with  up to date PHA guidance  (https://www.publichealth.hscni.net/news/  covid-19-coronavirus).    We will try to remain in regular contact  with participants and are exploring  innovative ways of keeping them involved  and engaged during these uncertain times  (for example e-learning).   Any queries with respect to this or should  any issues arise during this period of non-  delivery, please continue contact staff and  tutors via email, phone or Google  Classroom. Please stay safe and well.
